J. Marie Jones offers spiritual advice to Christians in her book Affirm the Word, assisting them in living by God's word. Leading a Christian life can be challenging at times. It appears like the Bible has contradictory ideas about what it means to be a Christian in relation to intimacy, relationships, forgiveness, and affection, to name just a few. At several places in the text, the author lists a number of sins and their cures, interspersing her opinions throughout. She quotes the Bible on a variety of subjects, including partnerships, work, money, and beliefs. Is it feasible to condense a single transgression or manner of life into a digestible list of verses?

I found it admirable how boldly the author described the changes that Christianity has seen over time. Tithing is one way that this is demonstrated. Ten percent of one's wage was the suggested tithe for a long time; however, the author shows why this method is no longer suitable. She provided such a thorough explanation that I started to second-guess my donation decisions. The distribution of divorces was another highly esteemed aspect of the period. Because Ms. Jones is no longer with us, this section is significant. Anyone who identifies as a Christian and seeks biblical advice on how to live a certain way while still using analytical reasoning should not miss this book.

The cover's arrangement is what first drew my eye. The bright yellow color scheme complements the author's overall style for the book. By employing the color blue, the author communicates their poise and consideration. These impressions are accurate throughout the book since Ms. Jones doesn't judge people according to their choices or stage of life. The fact that readers will be able to read her adds to her genuineness and empathy even more. ideas on some of the transgressions and the teachings of the Bible.

The author's ability to make it easy to carry on the discussion on a variety of topics was something else I appreciated. Each time a certain topic is brought up, she reads passages from the Bible in chronological order. The pages of the book demonstrate a high degree of consistency, and the style is consistent throughout.

Anyone looking to learn about Christianity in a clear and concise manner should definitely check it out, in my opinion. Christians may also use this book as a resource to teach their children moral behavior and daily routine. Because this book has the potential to significantly alter non-Christian believers' beliefs and emotions, I advise them not to try it.
